Here at Coupons Are Great we have a deep belief that coupons really are great. There are various sources to obtain coupons from including but not limited to newspapers, printable sites, and home mailers. Some of the best coupons come in the mail after complimenting a company.
July’s Hot One Hundred is an email campaign. Throughout the month of July we will email 100 companies a valid compliment, complaint, or question. We will watch as our mailboxes fill with coupons!
Compliments are easy! Be specific when emailing a company a compliment. Emailing something like “Hi. I like your product” is not heartfelt. Here is an example of my Huggies compliment:
“I absolutely LOVE Huggies Overnights. They make my life complete. I have tried regular diapers and pull up on my two-and-a-half year-old and each morning I have to change her clothing immediately and wash her sheets. When I use Huggies Overnights she does not leak through her diaper. Thank you for making a superior product.”
Complaints should be valid. If you have a valid complaint make sure you keep the product packaging if possible because the company will want information including sell by/expiration dates, packaging codes, and UPC numbers. Here is an example of my Chicken complaint:
“Our family eats your chicken cordon bleu about once a month. We love the chicken, ham, and cheese mixture. However when I cooked your product last night one of the chicken breasts did not have ham in it. I know this is very unusual. The UPC from the package is 1234-56-78910 and the expiration date is 1/1/2099. I thought it was best to let your company know that there was an issue with the product we purchased.”
Questions can be about anything. It can benefit you to email a company and ask if they have coupons if you have not tried their product. The worst they can do is thank you for the inquiry and state that they do not have coupons available at this time.
To start the email campaign off a little bit slowly I will include 3 companies to email today. On July 31st we will have contacted 100 companies. There is no rhyme or reason to the way the list .is posted.
1) Alexia Foods
2) Amy’s
3) Apple and Eve
This should take five minutes or less per day! I am excited to see coupons arrive in my mailbox. Who is joining the fun?
