When we recently received our My Twinn catalog in the mail my initial reaction was a bit skeptical. Some of the outfits in the catalog looked like ones I would have had as a child. But my girls were (and still are) entranced with the catalog. They both think that they need every accessory My Twinn makes including the bunked, nightstand, and strollers. They have their favorite dolls circled in the catalog. Funny enough, the dolls they have circled are the ones that resemble them.

I love the stockings. They come from Santa so you just get to enjoy the contents without worrying about whether you’re acting appropriately appreciative to the gift giver. The tradition I dislike most is the spectacle of gift opening.
We put our tree up the weekend following Thanksgiving and keep it up till after New Year.

My Favorite Holiday Tradition has been since I was a baby and now with my kids is going to my grandma’s on Christmas Eve. We went to my Dad’s Mom and Mom’s Mom until my Dad’s mom passed away and now we just go to my Granny’s every Christmas Eve. My favorite tradition at Christmas is putting up the tree and having me, hubby and kids all decorate it with homemade ornaments that they made me. They still make one a year to add to the tree and we all talk about the memories of each one as we put them up. It’s one tradition that I treasure and hope they will do it with their kids when they have their own families.
One of my best friends and I have a tradition that we started a few years ago where we would go to Starbucks first thing in the morning and just relax. Sometimes we’re joined by our other best friends, but it’s mostly been just us.
