
The first weekend in August is here! That’s a little bit of a crazy thought. If you don’t already have your weekend packed full of fun, you may want to get out of the house and in to another air conditioned building for a change of pace. Having fun as a family does not have to cost a lot of money out of pocket. It is possible to find free activities to do with your children each weekend at major retailers coast to coast. A big round of applause to these major retailers who offer free activities this weekend!
AC Moore: Saturday July 2nd from 1:00 pm until 3:00

Bank of America: Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd
It’s the first full weekend of the month. If you have a Bank of America card be sure to check the calendar to see what museums have free admission near you.
Home Depot: Saturday August 6th from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm
Children will create a wooden pencil case.
JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store: Saturday August 6th from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm – Papercrafting with Cricut
3:00 pm until 5:00 pm – Tulip Body Art Face and Body Paint – in selected stores. For kids 12 and older
Kidtoons Films: Various times throughout the weekend (The Atlanta theater show times is 10:59 on both Saturday and Sunday)
Watch Candyland: The Great Lollipop Adventure – a family friendly movie with a family friendly price!
Lakeshore Learning: Saturday July 2nd from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm
Children will make a space scene craft on rainbow colored scratch paper.Walmart: Various time throughout the weekend
